Ancient Buddhist Temple to be destroyed by Chinese mining by December!

Preserving cultural history can be a key to national pride, and eventually, peace.

By December, the Mes Aynak Buddhist Temple in Afghanistan, which is over 1500 years old and survived the Taliban regime and al-Qaeda, will be destroyed by a Chinese mining company, for large copper deposits recently found under the soil.
