Every 3.6 seconds a child dies from hunger which is associated with the fact that the starvation most likely resulted from poverty. This is because if the parents live in poverty and raised their children in poverty, it turns into a vicious cycle and those children will most likely raise their children in poverty who will raise their children in poverty and so on. These children who are growing up in poverty are experiencing a lack of material, spiritual, and emotional resources that are necessary to be able to survive. Once a child is deprived from these resources during the first few years of their life, it can limit their physical and mental development for the rest of their lives.

People around the world should realize a horrible issue occurring around us everyday. As "every 3.6 seconds a child dies from hunger", other people around the world are eating when ever they want and don't even understand how good they have it. As resources are deprived from children, they are "limited in their physical and mental development for the rest of their lives". As this stunts the growth of the new generation in malnourished poverty cities, this cycle continues and hurts the future generations as well. People should give up some of the wants they have to give to a necessary cause that's standing in our way right now. This obstacle can't be ignored, but if everyone joins together to put a stop to this global issue, then it can be reduced for the benefit of many.
