Today I heard a story, there was a woman she lived in poverty. She made the most of her situation, she had some money. This woman had two sons one of them the day he was born was diagnosed with an illness. This child would die no matter what! She spent every possible amount of money she had to save him. The day he died her other son died 3 hours later from pneumonia which was never diagnosed by a doctor

This is a true story !

I want you to read this again , and i want you to think of how uncomplicated and easy pneumonia can be cured! Let me tell you that both sons could have been saved if they were not in poverty!

I want you to think about this story from now on when you see someone asking for money to help charity as a common reminder. The second you donate money your saving someones life!

I agree , i don't think anyone really understands what they have until they have too loose it and or give it up!

Soo touching. Poverty has stolen a lot of dreams, caused all sort of disaster, shattered many home and has done and still doing worse things in the likes of this particular story. .: I think we as individuals or as collective bodies/entities should be more of empathy than sympathy in addressing issues like these, because you tend to assist more when you put yourself in other peoples shoes...

i know , it really makes you think about how much we have. Can i just add that my friends mum had phenmonia and it was noticed immidently by a docter and cured withing a few months! this just proves how we live in luxery and spend thousands of dollars on ourselves when peope living in poverty do not even have enough money to have both there children examined by docters and do not have a good enough education to see when there child is ill

That is so weird that we're in 2012 and we've best technology of all time ruling the world a round us and there are still people dying from poverty and diseases weren't diagnosed by a doctor just because they do not got money. Shame in the world we're living in. I hope i can do some thing voluntary, I wish if any one could tell me how?
